Prochorus brings hope to the people of Kayamandi.
On the outskirts of Stellenbosch, is a small informal settlement called Kayamandi. Founded in the apartheid regime, the community was started to house black migrant farm workers. This community now consists of 20 000 people, most of whom are living in shacks and have little or no income.
Elsa Pretorious (right) is the managing director at Prochorus and has a passion for helping the people of Kayamandi. I went out to capture "a day in the life" of Prochorus in order to raise some awareness about this cause.
