A South Africa without hunger and malnutrition.

For my second photojournalism expedition, I had the opportunity to spend a day with Ciska Coetzee from Foodbank South Africa – and her awesome team. Foodbank SA collects and distributes food to more than 203 000 hungry South Africans and serves between 12 and 14 million meals every year.

During this event, Foodbank teamed up with Fruit & Veg City for the Care 2 Carry campaign in which young school children get to paint their dreams and aspirations, which in turn gets printed on reusable shopping bags. For every bag purchased, R2 is donated to Foodbank.
